National Aptitude Test (NAT), as the name implies, is a national level common entrance test conducted for various universities and higher education institutes offering professional, vocational, allied and management under graduate programmes like BBA, BCA, B.Tech etc. and post graduate programmes like MBA, MCA, M.Tech etc. It is an ability judgement test which is used to hunt the talent of the students and provide them platforms as per their calibre.


The candidates, who want to seek admission in B.Tech, should have passed higher secondary education level or are appearing for the same currently. In same manner, the candidates interested in M.Tech course, should have passed final years of their under graduate course or are appearing for the same currently.


The pattern and process of NAT includes following considerations:

1. The applicants are supposed to download registration form for National Aptitude Test (NAT) for Under Graduate (UG) courses and National Aptitude Test (NAT) for Post Graduate (PG) courses from official website of NAT (www.natindia.com) and the same should be submitted along with demand draft of quoted price.
2. The total duration of the exam is 150 minutes (i.e. 2 hours and 30 minutes)
3. For B.Tech level, National Aptitude Test includes total of 170 questions consisting of five sections as:
• General knowledge consisting 40 questions
• Socio-economic environment consisting 40 questions
• English comprehension & language consisting 30 questions
• Non-verbal and verbal reasoning consisting 30 questions
• Numerical ability consisting 30 questions
