Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay campus situated in Powai, Mumbai was established in 1958 with the help of Russian Roubles and in 1961 Indian Parliament Decreed the IITs as the “Institute of National Importance”.
he institute is commonly known as IIT, Bhubaneswar was established in July, 2008. It is situated at the foot of Barunei Hill, Bhubaneswar, Odisha and spreads in an area of 936 acres.
