Course Details :

Petrochemical engineering is a specialized branch of Chemical Engineering and is a developing industry. The jobs in this sector have increased over the years. This branch of engineering deals with extraction of organic chemicals like oil/crude petroleum and converting them to usable resources. The process has two stages; one is of extraction, production and utilization of oil and natural gases. The second stage includes refining, marketing and distribution of petroleum products.

Eligibility Criteria :
For B. Tech
  • 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in science stream from recognized board.
  • Score in an Entrance Exam like JEE etc. is also considered.

For M. Tech in Petrochemical Engineering

Applicants for M. Tech should have a graduate degree B.E/B. Tech in engineering with high percentage marks with a valid GATE score.

Degree & Duration :
  • B. E. / B. Tech. -- 4years
  • M. E. / M. Tech. -- 2years
