Software Engineering

Course Details :

It is related to development of software programs i.e. designing and writing programs for electronic devices and computers. This type of engineering requires lot of practical knowledge in writing codes. Software Engineering also includes lots of research, maintaining and editing of the existing programs. It’s a group effort and these programs are used in non-profit organizations, large scale businesses and government agencies.

Eligibility :

For admission in Software Engineering undergraduate degree B.Tech / B.E. one must have passed 12th standard exams in physics, chemistry, mathematics with 55% aggregate marks and with english as additional subject. The candidate should also take national level exams like JEE, JNU, AICET, etc depending upon the institute they are seeking admission for.

The candidate applying for a graduate degree M.E/M.Tech/M.S should possess a bachelor’s degree B.E/B.Tech in CSE or CSIT with minimum 60% exams. In addition to this the candidate needs to take GATE entrance exam.
