Course Details :

Polymers are synthetic organic materials like plastic, rubber, starch, cellulose and resins. They are made up of molecules that link to each other in the form of chain. The study of these polymers is called Polymer Engineering. It includes designing, production, synthesis and distribution.

Eligibility Criteria :
For B. Tech
  • 12th standard with minimum 50% marks (in PCM i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics group), from recognized board.
  • Score in an Entrance Exam i.e. JEE / WBJEE etc. is also considered.

For M. Tech in Polymer Engineering

Applicants for M. Tech should have a graduate degree B.E/B. Tech in engineering with high percentage marks with a valid GATE score.

Degree & Duration :
  • B. E. / B. Tech. -- 4years
  • M. E. / M. Tech. -- 2years
