Course Details :

This engineering course is available in both undergraduate and postgraduate degree course. It is the study to develop, improve, implement and evaluate the integrated system of people, money, knowledge, information, equipment, energy, material and as a whole industrial process. These engineers work on the designing, planning, measuring and controlling all the activities of the organization.

Industrial engineering is also commonly known as production engineering, manufacturing engineering, operations management or manufacturing systems engineering.

Eligibility Criteria :
For B. Tech

12th standard with minimum 50% marks (in PCM i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics group), from recognized board.
Score in an Entrance Exam i.e. JEE or a state level exam MUOET (depending upon the institute they have opted for) is also considered.

For M. Tech in P & IE

Applicants should have a graduate degree B.E/B. Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, with high percentage marks along with a valid GATE score.

M. E. / M. Tech. -- 2years
