Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology, Chandigarh (CCET), formerly known as Central Polytechnic Chandigarh (CPC), established in the year 2002, it is a private college under the administrative control of the UT Administration, Chandigarh and is affiliated to Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh for its degree courses, approved by AICTE and MHRD, Govt. of India and Punjab State Board of Technical Education for its Diploma courses. CCET provides many forms of scholarship programs under various criteria to the students in the matter of providing financial aid to the worthy and needy students.

Placements :

Placements at CCET are organized and conducted by the Training and Placement Cell with the assistance of students and faculty. Arrangements for pre-placement talks and interactive sessions are made upon request. Some of the prime recruiter of the college which frequently visit the college placement sessions are such as Infosys, IFB, uTrade, Quark, Talwar & Talwar Consultants, SML Isuzu, Myntra, Clicklabs, Punj Lyod, Finxera, Sufi, L&T InfoTech, Dakin, Birla Soft, HCL, Godrej and many more like them.

The undergraduate curriculum is broad based and is designed to introduce the students to a wide range of problems encountered by students in the field. A number of elective subjects are offered to enable a student to study the area of his special interest in depth. Students are given practical problems of different areas as their projects and practical training are a part of the courses aimed at familiarizing the students with actual problems. Admission through lateral entry in 2nd year of degree programme is on the basis of merit of PULEET, entrance test conducted by Panjab University, Chandigarh.

The college also provides PhD programs in Engineering (CSE, ECE, CE, ME) approved as Research Centre of Panjab University, Chandigarh. The admission in PhD programs are being made by the Panjab University, Chandigarh.
