Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Test
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University(GGSIPU) is very well-known place for the students to provide them a platform to test their knowledge skills. This university is presently situated in Delhi and commonly recognized as Indraprastha (IP) University. It conducts a state level common entrance examination named GGSIPU (Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University) CET (Common Entrance Test) for providing students an opportunity to take admission in various under graduate and post graduate courses related to respective fields of medical, law, dental, engineering etc.
Eligibility :The age of the candidate should not be more than 21 years on 01 August, 2023. The education qualification of the candidates should be 10+2 from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or equivalent board with English as Compulsory subject in qualifying exam. The candidates, who want to apply for B.Tech, must have aggregate of 55% in PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics).
Pattern :- For all the courses, an offline common entrance test will be conducted containing objective type questions. The students are required to attempt questions in English language.
- The duration of examination will be 2 hours and 30 minutes in general. For B.Tech Biotechnology, the duration of exam will be extended to 3 hours.
- There will be total 150 questions in common. For B.tech Biotechnology, the number of questions will be 200. For M.Phil, paper-1 will contain 100 questions.
- Each correct answer will be given 4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- The application criteria start with application form. The application form will be available on the respective organization website from mid-February. The candidates are required to apply online for the same and will get the result for the same online only. The admit cards will be available before 2 weeks of the examination. The qualifying candidates will have their counseling sessions before their admission in desired courses on the basis of merit and performance graph generated in the result of the exam.
