VSAT stands for Vignan Scholastic Aptitude Test. It is an online aptitude entrance exam conducted by Vignan University Vadlamudi, Guntur Campus, Andhra Pradesh, India. VSAT acts as a doorstep for the candidates who seek admission in B.Tech programmes such as (Agricultural Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Food Technology and Information Technology) and B.Pharm for study of manufacture and preservance of drugs and other related pharmaceutical, offered by the university. The major motive of the university is to nurture students with fundamental capabilities along with deep disciplinary knowledge.

The candidates should have passed higher secondary examination or equivalent with at least 60% marks. The minimum age of the candidate must be 20 years. Also, the candidates having very good scores in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main or Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) are eligible to take admission directly.

VSAT is conducted in online mode with multiple choice questions. The question paper will be in English language only and will consist of four sections namely Mathematics or Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English and English aptitude. Each right answer will carry 1 mark. No negative marking will be there.
