Exam DETAILS

Vels Entrance Examination (VEE) is conducted by Vels University, Chennai. VEE is considered as one of the common test for all those students who wish to take admission in different flavored courses like Engineering, Maritime Studies, Basic Sciences, Management Studies, Commerce, Life Sciences, Computing Sciences, Hotel management, Pharmacy, Mass Communication and Physiotherapy.

• The nationality of the applicant must be Indian.
• The age of the applicant must be between 17 and 25.
• The candidates, who want to take admission in M.Tech course, must have done B.Tech or B.E in their graduation from applicable university.
• The candidates, who want to take admission in Engineering courses, must have done 10+2 or its equivalent exam from recognized board with base subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) or appearing for the same level. In succeeding examination, minimum 50% marks should be obtained.
• The candidates, who want to take admission in Pharm.D and B.Pharmacy courses, must have done 10+2 or its equivalent exam from recognized board with base subjects Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics or Biology/Zoology and Botany
• The candidates, who want to take admission in MBA course, must have done their graduation from applicable university with minimum of 50% marks.
• The candidates, who want to take admission in MCA course, must have done their graduation with Mathematics or graduation with Mathematics in 10+2from applicable university with minimum of 50% marks.

The exam pattern of VEE contains multiple choice questions in offline mode. The time duration of the exam is 90 minutes containing 100 questions to be answered. No negative marking will be there.
