TRIPURA JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION (TRIPURA JEE)

 
Overview :

Evolved and generated out of a concept of holding a common admission test for the Engineering colleges and Medical Colleges, the Tripura joint Entrance Examinations Board was crated and formed for Admission to Medical Colleges, Engineering Degree Colleges and moreover other professional degree courses. Admission to the colleges and remittance is conducted on the basis of the results of a unique and single competitive examination with the basic purpose of selecting candidates for consideration for which would also lead to saving of time, energy and expenditure on the part of the candidates in appearing at number of entrance tests.

Eligibility :
  • Applicant, aspirant and candidate must be a citizen of India
  • Candidate or applicant must be a residential person or permanent resident of Tripura and either the candidate or his/her parent must have been residing or staying in the state of Tripura continuously for a minimum of 10 (ten) years and not prior to the date of making or forming application for appearing at the Joint Entrance Examination 2023 visible. Permanent Resident of Tripura Certificate (PRTC) status which has been issued by the appropriate authority of candidate/father/mother which one is applicable out of all, must be submitted with the application form .
  • Candidate or an applicant or aspirant must have passed/appeared/due to appear in the year of Joint Entrance Exam at the Higher Secondary Exam or upper level exam of Tripura Board of Secondary Education /Central Board of Secondary Education while dealing with an equivalent exam of the same nature with the subjects in which he/she desires to appear at the Joint Entrance Exam.
  • Children and dependents of All India Services Officers and other secondary officers who were born in Manipur-Tripura cadre and the children of the employees who were born outside Tripura of State Govt. posted will be eligible to appear at the exam irrespective of their prior stay in the State of Tripura.
  • In case a candidate or an applicant is not permanent resident of Tripura and is an Officer on deputation to the Govt. of Tripura/Officer of the Central Govt. working in Tripura and he/she has served in Tripura continuously for a period of 3-years or more but his/her parent or a guardian in case of orphan is residing there and has passed H.S from an Institution of Tripura is eligible for appearing in the exam of Tripura Entrance paper.
  • In case of the dependents and children and Wards of Ex-Serviceman, either the candidate or applicant or aspirant or his/her parents must have been staying in Tripura continuously for not less than at least a period of 5-years immediately prior to the date of making application for appearing at the Joint Entrance Exam and the candidate must surely have passed or appeared/due to appear at the H.S. (+2) Exam level or equivalent from any legally recognized institution in India in the year of JEE with subjects in which he/she desires to appear or stay visible at the Joint Entrance Exam.
  • If a candidate is allocated or allotted a seat in the past inside, intern or out-side the State on the basis of the result of Joint Entrance Exam, the candidate or he/she shall not be eligible to appear at the JEE this year or subsequent year unless and until he/she has surrendered the allotted seat in writing within specific time to the appropriate authority concerned with the entrance exam of TRIPURA JEE(e) As received by the Board of Education from the respective sponsoring departments and concerned offices, the total number of seats along other criteria regarding eligibility, requirement and necessity shall be ascertained on the basis of the communication of the candidate exam stature.
  • Candidates will be approved and authenticated as per the norms of the State Government by the Reservation strategy of seats for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped (PH)/Wards of Ex-serviceman (EX).

Pattern :
  • Question Paper of TRIPURA JEE comprising of the subjects of technical and logical nature of the exam given as per TRIPURA JEEE standard will be of 100 marks comprising of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ)
  • Candidates, aspirants and applicants who are aspiring to seek admission to a number of Engineering/Technical Degree Courses (Group-A) will have to appear in the subjects mentioned as - Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and the different courses which are as follows - Medical/Veterinary/Agricultural/Fisheries and others (Group-B) will have to appear in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
