Netaji Subash Institute of Technology, often referred as one of the most reputed colleges of engineering in Delhi is another name of Delhi Institute of Technology. It is an engineering college located in the Dwarka area of New Delhi. Being an autonomous institution of Government of Delhi, it is a prime player in the field of engineering education. Currently it has been diversified into – NSIT, Cluster Innovation Centre and Delhi Technological University. All the courses which are imparted by the college are in English language. The most common UG, PG and Doctorate courses are –B.E. (Computer engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Process And Automation Engineering, Information Technology, Bio Technology, Electronics And Communication Engineering and Instrumentation and control Engineering), M.Tech (Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Computer Engineering) and Ph.D. ( Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Manufacturing Process and Automation Engineering, Physics, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Bio-Technology, Management, Humanities and Social Sciences, Chemistry).

The eligibility criteria for the examination are given below in detail:

• Only those students or candidates are eligible apply who are born on or after 1, October, 1992. On the same basis, 5 years relaxation is given to SC, ST and PwD candidates.
• Candidates are required to score a minimum of 75% marks or on the other hand the candidates are required to be in the high and top 20 percentile in their senior secondary examination or class 12th. A 5% relaxation will be given to SC/ST candidates in this perspective.
• Having an Aadhar card is necessary for the candidates taking the examination of JEE

• The exam consists of subjects of the PCM group – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
• Being a single stage examination, 3 hours duration will be given to for the exam comprising of 180 marks each constituting of 4 marks.
• 60 questions will be asked from each subject along with negative marking scale for the incorrect answers.
