PES Scholastic Aptitude Test (PESSAT)

 
Overview :

PESSAT, well known for PES Scholastic Aptitude Test, is an integral part of the PES University admissions process which has to be followed by all interested candidates who are seeking admissions in various engineeringB.Tech, BBA, BBA in Hotel and Event Management, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Sc in Engineering by clearing PESSAT. It is conducted every year at various locations across the Country for admissions.

Eligibility :

The candidates, who want to appear for PESSAT for admission in B.Tech course, must fulfill following criteria as:

  • Candidate must have passed 10+2 with base subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) with overall 60% marks atleast.
  • Once the candidate will have his/her rank in hand, his/her performance will be evaluated on the basis of the same and will be called for counseling process to be held at PES University campus, Bangalore.

Pattern :

PESSAT is a computer based engineering entrance test having multiple choice 180 questions, comprising following distribution scheme as :

  1. Mathematics – 60 questions
  2. Physics – 60 questions
  3. Chemistry – 40 questions
  4. English – 20 questions

Total of 180 minutes (3 hours) will be given for completion of the test. It means, a candidate will have one minute for one question on an average. No negative marking will be entertained.
