Exam DETAILS

VTUEEE stands for Vel Tech University Engineering Entrance Exam is a reputed entrance examination for taking admission into several streams of B.Tech itself at the Institute. The Vel Tech Technical University offers admissions through its different campuses located in Chennai for a number of UG courses. Moreover, scholarships are allocated to the students who have secured excellent ranks. The entrance examination is organized by the VTUEEE entrance exam in two phases – I and II.

The eligibility criteria for the entrance examination of VTU are given below:

• Candidates should possess Indian Nationality. NRI candidates under mentioned criteria are eligible to apply for the examination.
• Applicants and aspirants should have passed their 10+2 level from a recognized and reputed board of education.
• Candidates who are currently appearing in the XII standard can also apply for the examination.
• Maximum age limit for the candidates is 25 years.
• 5 years relaxation will be given to the candidates belonging to the categories –SC, ST and PC.
• In specific cases, examination authority can even allow an age relaxation of 6 months.

The pattern for the VTUEEE examination is given below in detail:

• A total of 100 questions will be given in the paper each of 1 mark.
• Questions will be asked from PCM group – Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
• 50 questions will be from Mathematics and 25 will be asked from Physics and Chemistry respectively.
