A joint entrance test conducted by Assam, Joint Admission Test (JAT) is commonly referred entrance exam meant for admission in respective fields on the basis of rank scored by the candidates. The entrance test is mainly organized by Director of Technical Education, Assam and is meant for all those followers who wish to take admission in the various competing and talent exhibiting Under-Graduate programs such as Medical, Engineering, Dental and last but not the least Ayurvedic courses. This entrance exam is the most awaited moment for the candidates to get entry in the fields of excellence and their wait comes to an end in the month of May of every year.
Eligibility :To be eligible for Joint Admission entrance test, the age of the applicant should be in the range of 17 to 21 years as per date of application. The qualification of the applicant must be 10+2 with basic subjects as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 50% marks. The level of senior secondary education must be approved under Assam Higher Secondary Education Council.
Pattern :The entrance exam will consist of 400 Objective type questions belonging to the base field subjects as Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. The application form for the Assam Joint Admission Test is released in first week of April month with last date in the last week of month of April only. The conduction of actual entrance exam takes place in the month of May.
