Exam DETAILS

GITAM-GAT often referred as the Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management is a reputed university which is known globally for conducting entrance examinations of university level for allowing the students to get enrolled into a number of courses offered by the university. A number of B.Tech stream courses are provided by the university through institutes ofits Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam branches. Since, the university follows an online mode of examination; therefore, the candidates are advised to visit the allocated centres for the exam under the graduation category. Mostly, B.Tech programs are offered through the paper of GITAM-GAT.

• Candidates are supposed to obtain at least 60% aggregate marks in Chemistry, Physics Mathematicsalong with passing class 12th or any equivalent exam to be eligible for GITAM GAT.
• Candidates with minimum 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biologyin class XII or equivalentare eligible for seeking admissions into B.Tech Biotechnology.
• Those candidates will also be eligible for appearing in the entrance examination of GITAM-GATthatis currently in the class XII exam.
• The First Rank Holders of the central and all state board exams are not required to appear for GITAM GAT . They will be able to apply for direct admissions to the university.

• Multiplechoice type questions will be offered in the examination of GITAM GAT.
• Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are covered under the syllabus of GITAM-GAT.
• For every right answer in the examination, the applicant will be awarded 4 marks and on the other hand, a wrong answer of yours will make a deduction of 1 mark.
• Lastly, unanswered questions will not be valued and hence will grab no marks, neither negative nor positive.
