EXAM DETAILS

Combined Pre-Entrance Test, shorts for HCPET, is a renowned entrance exam that provides a doorstep for the students to get into the field of technology by testing their skill level. This exam particularly helps the students for taking admission in B.Tech courses (a four years bachelor degree program). It is conducted by a well-established body named National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur. This exam is particularly used to hunt the talent in upcoming stuff.

The candidates, who are willing to appear for the exam, must possess senior secondary level education (10+2) with main compulsory subjects as Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Compulsory English. The candidates must have scored 60% marks in the qualifying exam for NRI seats/Payment.

• The exam pattern will be objective type having multiple choice questions. The students are required to attempt questions in English only. All the questions will be oriented towards English, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.
• The process of applying for HCPET starts with an application form and fee submission for the same. The respective exam brochure and application are available online on the respective website of conducting body National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur. Once an application form filling process has been completed, the same should be submitted and notified to the conducting body along with fee payment detail, usually in the month of April. After conduction of exam, a merit list will be made and the same will be used for selection of the candidates
