AUEEE, often termed as the Annamalai University Engineering Entrance Examination is an engineering entrance exam conducted by the reputed organization of Annamalai. A number of courses like B.E., B.Sc. in Agriculture and B.Sc. in horticulture will be offered to the students with a mandatory step of clearing the entrance exam of Annamalai University. Along with the agricultural courses, the different streams of engineering like Civil, Mechanical, Civil and Structural, Electrical, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, Chemical Engineering and Electronics and Communication are offered. AUEEE is especially dedicated to the students belonging to the state of Tamil Nadu or in any way prove their nativity or domicile requirements as required and demanded by the University for Further Admission.

• Passing 10+2 or XII standard from a recognized institute and board of education along with minimum qualifying marks and mandatory subjects is the first parameter for appearing in the AUEEE for admission into under graduate courses.
• Candidates or applicants who have passed their graduation from a recognized institute with a minimum of 50-55% marks on the basis of the courses which have been selected are eligible to apply for the post-graduation courses.
• On the basis of merit in the previous qualifying exam, the admission to all the Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses is conducted.
• Admission to MBA in Hospital Management will be done on the basis of a written exam in distance education mode.
• For all courses except lateral entry programs, there’s a provision of spot admissions.
• In favor of The Director, DDE, Annamalai University for the prescribed admission fee, the candidate needs to be present in person for spot admission. Along with this, the candidate must bring original copies of relevant documents and demand draft drawn.
• Once the verification is done, the original documents will be returned to the candidates.
• In order to be admitted through post, a demand draft of prescribe admission fee along with duly filled application form and attested photocopies of relevant documents should be sent by the applicant or candidate.

A total of 120 questions of Objective nature with multiple choices will be given to the candidates.

• In lieu of total questions, two hours will be given to the candidates to solve the questions.
• Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry will be the subjects from where the questions will be asked. Each section will carry 40 questions.
• For the examination, the OMR sheet will be given to the candidates and each question comprising of 1 mark will be asked.
• For every correct answer, 1 mark will be given and for every wrong one, 1 mark will be deducted. So, negative marking scheme is followed.
• The AUEEE 2023 will be conducted in two formats – CBT and PBT.
