College Details :

IIT, Indore was initially functioning from two locations: one at Simrol Campus (Khandwa Road) and another at PACL Campus (Indore-MHOW Road) but from October 2015, it shifted to its permanent campus of 525 acres in Simrol. Its library emphasizes the use of Online Information Resources and provides access to around 3800 electronic journals as well as databases like ACM Digital Library, IEEE Xplore Digital Library, MathSciNet, JSTOR etc. The infrastructure and research department of this institution is outstanding and the campus is highly secured. Mr.Ramakant Kaushik (Chief Security Officer) and his department ensure the safety of all the students and conducts security check 24 hours a day.

The famous recruiters of IIT, Indore are TESCRA, AMAZON INDIA, L&T, HCL TECHNOLOGIES, TATA MOTORS, IBM INDIA, E&E, BLUE STAR, BPCL, FLIPKART, MICROSOFT, SNAPDEAL and many more. The highest package paid was 1.7 Cr (INR) in the international market by Google US while the domestic package paid 28 LPA. The average package offered for jobs at Indian Institute of Technology, Indore was 11 Lakhs per annum in the year 2014-15.
