AMUEE, often referred as Aligarh Muslim University Entrance Examination is an entrance examination conducted by Aligarh Muslim University which is ranked at the 8th rank among all the top 20 research universities in India as per the reputed newspaper“The Times of India”. It has been awarded a joint collaboration project with the Ohio State University located in USA for the deep field of Science and Technology. It offers a number of courses to the applicants in different streams whether Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctorate. Moreover, the university is so profound and established in its curriculum range that it offers even professional courses like Humanities & Social Sciences, Law, Business & Management Studies, Engineering, Medicine &Health Sciences, Accounting and Commerce etc.

The candidates should have passed the 10+2 level or XII level with a minimum passing percentage in order to be eligible for the AMUEE undergraduate courses.

• The candidates must have passed the graduation level for fulfilling the AMUEE post-graduation criteria from a recognized and renowned university or institution.
• Since Aligarh Muslim University offers admission to the applicants on the basis of 3 criteria. That is –
• The entrance exam is held at the university levelfor the admission test
• The entrance exam is held at the departmental level for different tests
• The admission is made on the basis of merit instead of any entrance exam

AMU offers admission to the candidates on the basis of GATE score as well. So, it accepts the ranks obtained in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering for the courses such as M.Tech. Candidates are even given admissions on the basis of departmental tests in case of non-validity of the GATE scores.

AMU law entrance exam 2018 test pattern for BA LLB course is such that the question paper will contain 75 objective-type questions and 10 subjective-type short questions. Aspirants need to complete the exam in two hours duration. Questions in the exam will be based on subjects such as General English, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, as well as Reasoning and Aptitude.The pattern for the AMUEE is given below in detail:

• A total of 85 questions will be asked, out of which 75 questions will be of objective nature and 10 questions will be of subjective nature comprising a total of 100 marks.
• 2 hours will be given for the AMUEE which constitutes the weightage of 75% of objective type and rest 255 of subjective type.
