LPU NEST often referred as the Lovely Professional University National Eligibility and Scholarship Test is an entrance exam conducted by the reputed university of LPU. It is capable of offering admissions to candidates, applicants and aspirants who wish to pursue great undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The entrance exam is dedicated to students for this purpose only that they deserve to be on the top of the education scale of Lovely Professional University.

• Candidates belonging to the nation and fulfilling the citizenship are eligible to apply for LPU NEST.
• Applicants and aspirants appearing for LPUNEST should have either completed final examination of 10 + 2 from Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE), New Delhi, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi) or State Board or any other Council, Institution/ college or The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ICSE, New Delhi) or any other concerned apex body as applicable.

The pattern of the LPU NEST is as follows:

• A total of 2.5 hours i.e. 2 hours and 30 minutes will be given to the candidate for the examination purpose comprising of a total of 110 MCQs of objective nature where candidate has to choose one correct answer out of given multiple options.
• 30 questions each will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics where each questions is of 4 marks constituting to a total of 120 marks and on the other hand 30 questions will be asked from English where 2 marks will be given to each question constituting to a total of 40 marks.
