College Details :

It was earlier known as Visvesvaraya Regional College of Engineering. The college was established in the year 1960. VNIT, Nagpur got the status of NIT and deemed to be university under University Grants Commission Act in June, 2002. Since 15th August, 2007 the institute was declared as the institute of National importance. The campus covers an area of 215.26 acres of land in Nagpur.

Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur has separate hostels for both boys and girls. The institute also provides various other facilities to the students like gymnasium, guest house, sports, clubs, lecture theaters, library, laboratory and transport facilities.
