Water Resources Engineering is a two-year course at the postgraduate level. And it is a specialized branch of Civil Engineering. The course is available in M. Tech and M.E. degrees in numerous well-known institutes of India. It is the study of water resources i.e. how to plan, manage and develop them. Civil Engineers play a vital role in the industry as they make sure that clean and safe drinking water will be supplied. As well as, they plan for the amount of water to be available in the society for the development of physical and non-physical infrastructure.

Eligibility Criteria :
For M. Tech :-

Applicants for M. E. /M. Tech should have a graduate degree in B.E. / B. Tech degree in Civil Engineering / Geoinformatics / Agriculture / Agriculture and Irrigation / Energy & Environmental Engineering with a valid GATE score.
